The first GlobSnow-2 newsletter gives an overview of the GlobSnow-2 project, presents the project consortium and describes the further development efforts for the SWE and SE retrieval methodologies.

The tenth GlobSnow newsletter presents the overall accomplishments of
the GlobSnow project along with the final datasets provided: 30 years of
Snow water Equivalent (SWE) data and the 15 years of Snow Extent (SE)
for Northern Hemisphere.
Newsletter 9
The ninth GlobSnow newsletter focuses on the development of the next
versions of the GlobSnow long-term product sets. The rationale behind
modifications and enhancements for the SE and SWE FPS v1.2 are presented
and discussed. The SE and SWE FPS v1.0 data (1979 - 2010 for SWE and
1995 - 2010 for SE) continue to be distributed through the GlobSnow
www-based data dissemination website.

The eigth newsletter is a general issue describing the latest development on the GlobSnow SE and SWE products. The long term SE and SWE data products along with the NRT data are available through the GlobSnow www-based data dissemination website.
Newsletter 7
The seventh newsletter is a special issue focusing mainly on the GlobSnow SE product and the beginning of the GlobSnow NRT demonstration.
Both the SE and SWE products are available (along with the NRT data) through the GlobSnow www-based data dissemination website.
Newsletter 6
The sixth newsletter is a special issue focusing mainly on the GlobSnow
SWE product. The SWE product has been extended to cover the years 1992
to 2009 and is available (along with the SE data) also through a
www-based data dissemination website. The production of the SE product
for the Northern Hemisphere has started and an overview of these are
given in the newsletter.

The fifth newsletter contains information concerning the first user workshop that was held in Innsbruck 12-13 January 2010. Additionally the updated prototype dataset and the modifications to the products are described.
Newsletter 4The fourth newsletter presents the prototype dataset released on November for the user community. The prototype dataset includes Snow Extent data for the pan-European region for the years 2003 to 2006 and Snow Water Equivalent data for the Northern Hemisphere for the years 2003 to 2008. Additionally the newsletter contains information concerning the first user workshop to be held in Innsbruck 12-13 January 2010.
